Hola hola. Me llamo Courtney DeSousa y soy maestra. Oh! Did you get that? 😉 For those of you who do not speak Spanish, my name is Courtney and I am a high school Spanish and Italian teacher. I grew up in Cranston, RI and I began teaching at the age of 21 at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, RI. After eleven years of teaching in Warwick, I decided to change districts, and I will begin teaching this Friday at North Kingstown High School. I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning Graduate Program at Rhode Island College. In my free time, I love to travel. I have been to about fifteen different countries around the world. I am a passionate language learner. I appreciate and celebrate the many diverse cultures our world has to offer. I try each and every day to share this passion with students in hopes that they will develop their own.
